Laminate
Matt, hard-wearing and easy to clean. A high-pressure laminate on a stable core, edged in solid oak. The quickest top to build, and the one we suggest for desks that work hard.

Oak
Solid oak from certified forests, oiled by hand. Pale, steady grain that slowly turns the colour of honey in daylight.

Walnut
Solid walnut, oiled by hand. Dark, dense and the warmest of the three. We cut walnut in batches, a few a season.
Oiled by hand, signed underneath
Oak and walnut get three coats of hardwax oil, a day apart, sanded by hand between coats. The person who finished your top signs underneath.
